    vintage Coca-Cola thick glass sign measures approximately
    30 1/2" x 12"
    , weighs nearly eight pounds and was told it was originally utilized as signage in a retail shop or storefront as a transom "window" of sorts (architecturally, a "transom" is a transverse horizontal structural beam or bar, or a crosspiece  separating a door from a window above it; "transom windows" were historically used back in the day to allow passage of air or light between rooms even when doors were shut). In the case of this outstanding
    vintage
    Coca-Cola
    advertising, the signage was most likely placed above a door or large window in a soda shop or food market, to advertise the soda product waiting inside. Stunning colors still adorn this
    Coke
    sign that features a "fishtail" design! An outstanding example of vintage soda advertising from a bygone era...deserving to be framed and displayed!

    Condition
    : you can see some of the areas of color loss (due to color scratches on the sign's reverse) in the red, green and yellow areas but they do not really detract from the overall aesthetics. The physical integrity of the glass is
