Vintage SPENGLER Chicago Automatic Metal / (plastic) Pencil Sharpener - See Patent dates all in 1900's

Item is vintage / aged condition with rust - You be the judge - See photos for your inspection
Just over 4 in. tall by 5 in. wide
I inserted a small light into the inside of the sharpener in order to illuminate the information on Patents

photo of the word "Chicago" :
The plastic wood pencil shavings liner is cracked about 1/2 in or so. - See LAST photo
I have not attempted to clean this item in anyway - shown as I original found it.
