Today we are offering for sale an elegant pair of 925 sterling silver Salt and Pepper shakers by Lenox. This set is done in the Colonial style, with a pierced screw top and accent finial, pattern code FSC-99. Both shakers are in very good vintage condition, with very minimal wear and scuffing from light use. One of the shakers has a very faint and hardly noticeable dent that can be easily smoothed out by a jeweler. The tip of the finial on the other shaker is slightly bent, could easily be straightened out by a jeweler. This salt and pepper shaker set, along with many other sterling pieces we will be listing all came from a private collection in a fine Providence East Side mansion. Fresh to the market! Today we are offering for sale an elegant pair of 925 sterling silver Salt and Pepper shakers by Lenox (established in 1889 and still in business!). This expertly and intricately cast set is done in an understated and refined Colonial style, with a pierced screw top and accent finial, pattern code FSC-99.
Both shakers are in very good vintage condition, with very minimal wear and scuffing from light use. One of the shakers has a very faint and hardly noticeable dent that can be easily smoothed out by a jeweler if you'd bother. The tip of the finial on the other shaker is slightly bent, could easily be straightened out by a jeweler. This salt and pepper shaker set, along with many other sterling pieces we will be listing all came from a private collection in a fine Providence East Side mansion. Fresh to the market!
