Vintage Coca Cola 12" Inch Button Advertising Sign used as nail screw caddy read

For auction is a true vintage 12'' diameter Coca Cola button sign. The sign has Reg. U.S. Pat. off. under the Coca Cola Name.  The sign is painted metal not porcelain. I believe it is from the 1950's.   It is a recent find. The previous/original owner repurposed the sign by drilling holes and hanging glass jars with screws and nails. Each set of holes had a metal lid in place and the glass jars that held screws and nails would unscrew.. The center hole drilled held a large hook the hang in the work shop from the ceiling joists.  I have not attempted to clean the sign. I did wipe the dust, and surface dirt. The sign could use a cleaning. The back side of the sign has a bunch of surface rust. There is some minor dents and signs. There is some paint missing, but really not that much. If the holes were not present. This would be an excellent example. Please see pictures for condition. Ask questions before you bid.
