Viking horn salt and pepper shaker sterling silver by Magnus Aase Norway

Viking horn style and pattern sterling silver salt and pepper shakers by Magnus Aase, from Norway. At least near new, if not new, as the insides of the shakers don't appear to have ever been used. They are in the classic Viking horn style, but very easy to overlook are the designs on the surfaces. There are dragon heads, loops overlapping, and all the design motifs to go with the horn design. The design follows through on the surface of the stands as well. Each of the horns is 2 1/2" tall from bottom to peak of shaker, 2" long from stand to small curved tip of horn, and 1 1/4" across the base of the stand. The inside/backside surface of the stands shows the marking of "STERLING", a hallmark of Magnus Aase, and "NORWAY". Very nice set with unusual look and very nice details.
