    Description

    Original Civil War US hat insignia. 3-1/2 inches wide.  Lightly tarnished. No bends or dents. Unfinished-no wires.
    Mass produced Dragoon/Cavalry model 1858 that was regulation in the Civil War. This one was probably salvaged from supplier. As seen figure 478 in Campbell & O'Donnell's "Headgear Insignia"
    Celebrating  21 years (start 1/2000) with eBay. Just a one man operation with a couple new items per week..
