SHOT POUCHES~ANTIQUE~ONE IS MARKED Patent Date
TWO very old shot pouches.one has a patent date on the brass dispenser that I can barely read.but appears as: Jan 29 1856
Hope date this is correct or CLOSE.if not then you mabe can read the date better than I have done!
*POUCH with date Stiff  leather measures about 13"(including the dispenser and has a strap still attached)
~#2 POUCH-the dispenser is complete the leather is with
a large hole and the strap just hanging on barely.you could find soft leather and mabe replace or have someone replace the old leather???

Antique leather holder shows : N.G.P. embossed on the front. From what I could find online this antique holder: NATIONAL GUARD PENNSYLVANIA
~I saw one of these  listed that was  exactly like this one with other stuff on another website that helped with my identification of "N.G.P."
This very old holder looks to have been worn on a belt and I have done nothing to clean the holder as I am not sure what to do and do not want to put anything on the old leather that should not be applied.
Measures about 6 1/2" x 3 3/4" with a closure foldover in leather over brass. There is also a brass rod thru the bottom middle of this holder. Would have held 20 ?
I can barely read some  letters inside this case in the middle->looks to me like one word is "WILSON"(hard to get a photo for you to see what I THINK I can read with a magnifier)--but I cannot confirm this name "WILSON"-but letting you know this is what I "THINK" I can read of whatever had been on that area as shown in my photos.
The backside looks to have been "TACKED" on one of the straps that was used on the belt. ALSO-appears is that the original owner may have scratched initials on that back. See photos for this also.
