    Description

    Holy cow!  This sterling pepper grinder by Wallace is nothing to sneeze at!  Very rare turning handle generally only found with higher end groupings.  This particular paper grinder stands 3 inches high and another 1.25 inches to top of grinder handle.  Please note this grinder still has the small white piece at the top of the handle.  All other instances of similar grinders we could find out on the inter webs  do not.  It is cracked but is in tact.  We picked it up from a recent estate sale and polished it for pictures and to make sure there was no monogram hiding underneath.  There is not.   There is pepper, so consider it coming to you "pre-loaded' and ready for immediate use.  We have been unable to find the pattern the 74 pertains to in the Wallace family. We think it must be part of a pattern but unfortunately we have been unable to locate the exact pattern.  if we come across new information, we will pass it along.
