RARE? Set of 4 SANGO WOOD VIOLET HEXAGON BOWL Berry Nut BUTTER PAT Dish EXCLNT

This is a set of 4 Sango Japan dishes in excellent condition. No issue or even visible wear. I say rare because I could not find this same dish on the internet anywhere. I do not know what the actual use is. They are smaller than the berry dish is listed at. There are no other hexagon shaped dishes I could find. They could be butter pats, candy or nut dishes.  They measure 4 1/2" across at the widest point and about 1" deep.
