    Description

    This is an original U.S. Civil War Leather Cartridge Box 1864
    *Measures 8 inches wide by 7 1/4 inches closed.
    *It has one main pocket interior with an additional interior pocket with strap outside of main pocket.
    *U.S. Box plate impression can be seen on exterior of box and opposite side of cover of box.
    *Black with inside flap and accessory pocket, belt loops and box sling attachments on back. Makers mark on inside side flap.
    *Black rolled buckles on bottom and sling tabs on the back.
    *Leather is dried out on the outside flap cover and bottom and has become scaled.
    *Overall in delicate condition - leather is in rough shape
    *It is a great collectible and wonderful part of our military history.
