A fuchsia heart pin from French artist and accessories designer Leá Stein is offered here. Born in 1936, Stein is often described as
"the most notable and innovative designer of plastic jewelry of the 20th century".
Her process involves the lamination of multiple layers of celluloid acetate and this little, 1-1/8" pin is a good example of that work. The pin has the authentic
“Lea Stein Paris” signature on the back and V-shaped fastener.
There is light surface scuffs on the plastic due to sub-optimal storage, but it is only noticeable close up in certain light. Please see photos for more details on size, color and condition. These pictures are an important part of this and all item descriptions.
