    Description

    Original Civil War Artillery Wheel Hub from one of the battlefields of The Western Campaign. This Civil War wheel hub was part of an artillery piece. It was recovered years ago and the person cleaned it up and restored it. It is solid and in complete condition. It stands close to a foot tall and weighs nearly 13 lbs. This would have come from one of the Western Theater Battlefields such as Shiloh or Chickamauga.
    Update: We removed the white lettering from this item and removed the metal replacement plates. It is now original as made. We have left the dark brownish black paint which looks very natural on it. We believe it was originally painted artillery red as red paint is underneath.
