Antique 23+ lb 5-5/8" Shot Put~Confederate~Solid Steel~50~1800's~Found LI, NY

Description

This is an antique Shot Put  found on Long Island, New York. It is possibly Confederate and from the late 1700's to early 1800's. It is marked 50 and is made of solid steel. It weighs approximately
23 pounds 11 ounces and measures approximately 5-5/8" in diameter. It
is in good condition with some pitting and has a brown patina. I'm not an expert so please look carefully at the pictures and email me with any questions prior to purchasing.
