    Description

Lot #7 includes four (4) Yellowstone National Park postcards.  One is pre-linen, one is linen and two are early chrome cards. I have several lots of 3, 4 & 5 cards at auction of Yellowstone and WY so do take a look.
#201 Cleopatra Terrace, Yellowstone National Park is a pre-linen postcard published by Scheuber Drug Co., Livingston, Montana.  Depicts Cleopatra's Terrace in Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park.
    This card is in excellent
condition and is a very early card
    .
Chrome postcard by Haynes Studios Inc., Yellowstone Park, Wyoming.  Depicts the old Grand Canyon Hotel in Yellowstone National Park with the yellow touring busses parked outside.  This is the exterior of the card noted below.
This card is in fair condition.
Chrome postcard by Haynes Studios Inc., Yellowstone Park, Wyoming.  Depicts the massive fireplace in the Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone National Park with tourists sitting before the fire to add perspective.  A fire is still lit every morning in that fireplace, even in the summer.
This card is in good condition.
Linen postcard by Haynes Inc., Yellowstone Park, Wyoming.  No. 37776 Canyon Hotel Lounge, Yellowstone National Park.  This was the lounge in the Grand Canyon Hotel chrome card of the exterior included in this lot.  The hotel was built in Yellowstone National Park in 1910 by the Yellowstone Park Company to accommodate visitors to the area of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Yellowstone Falls. The hotel was built on a huge scale, with a perimeter measurement of one mile. Situated on a hill to the west of the falls, it dominated the landscape. It had an elegant resort-like air when first built. After World War II it was regarded by the National Park Service as outdated. Suffering from neglect, it was abandoned in the late 1950s and was in the process of demolition when it was destroyed by fire in 1960.
This card is in very good condition. Note: My camera made the border of the card look white when it is actually sepia.
Please look carefully at the photos, which are considered part of the description.
Combined shipping:  Additional cards put in cart and purchased at same time ship for {{detail_product_description}}.25 each.
    THANKS FOR LOOKING!
